An L-pin is 2D CNC: feed, 90°, cutoff. Name the long-leg length, the short-leg length, and the diameter. 3/8 and 7/16 in for implements and lighter hitches; 1/2 in when the receiver wants it. A hole for a clip is drilled or formed when it is on the print. Galvanized 1018 or 304.
5/8 in hitch pins sit above the 14 mm ceiling. The clip that retains the pin is a separate SKU — hitch pin clips. Typical clip wire is under 4 mm; we will name that.
Process: how we run it. Coil grades on materials. Diameters on 3/8, 7/16, and 1/2 in.
