A matching engine, not a shop list
AI matches a wire form job to the machine cell and secondaries on the floor. Not every CNC can run every print. Instant estimate stays this 4–14 mm Robomac.
Google still files us next to generic wire-form directories. Those lists treat every plant as the same CNC. They are not. USA Wire Form is a B2B matching engine for the wire forming sector: the print goes to a factory that actually has the cell — and the secondaries — for that job.
Some shops have a 100-piece minimum. Some will not look at a job under fifty thousand. Some run a coiler. Some run a Robomac-class 3D former. Some run fourslide. They are not interchangeable. Sending one drawing to twenty plants and hoping is how you get the wrong quote, the wrong date, and a part farmed through three buildings.
A CNC wire bender is not a universal tool
A spring coiler (WAFIOS, Itaya, Simplex class) is built for tight coils and lighter gauges. A heavy 3D cell (Numalliance Robomac class) is built for 4–14 mm structural forms — frames, baskets, hooks. Put the agricultural hook on the coiler and you fight the machine. Put the retail clip on the 214TF and you waste the cell. 2D tables and cut-to-length lines are a third class. Fourslide is not 3D CNC. The comparison page exists so a buyer does not pay for the wrong iron because the photo looked similar.

Bending is often half the job
Weld, plate, powder, end-form, inspect. If those live on another vendor, you pay a second quality stack and a second queue. The match looks at secondaries the shop filed on Source — end forming, weld, plate, heat treat, inspection — so the buyer is not assembling a supply chain in email. In-house on that floor is the point. We did not walk every plant. A filed cell and a listed secondary are what the shop put on the record.
Minimums follow the cell, not a directory blurb
Fourslide and transfer tools can take a day to set. That shop needs volume to justify the downtime. A CNC cell that programs from the print can run a hundred pieces. Mix those two in one RFQ blast and one quote looks “expensive” only because the machine was never right. The engine asks for the cell class first — spring, 2D CNC, 3D CNC, fourslide, multi-slide — then the wire size. Up to three introductions to shops that filed that kind of cell and a band that fits.
What the engine actually does
It does not scrape CAD against a secret idle-capacity feed. Buyers pick the class and the diameter on /source. Engineers type an OEM or class on /find-factories-by-machine and get up to four plants that named that iron.
